How Can Iron On Labels Help You?

Iron On Clothing Labels help you sort laundry. Each Label can be printed with a name and/or other information to help you return garments back to the right person after laundering.

How Do The Labels Withstand Laundering?

Unitherm’s Iron On Labels are coated on the back with Heat Seal Film. The Heat Seal Film melts then bonds to the clothing. After about 60 seconds, the label cools and essentially makes a permanent bond.

How Are Iron On Clothing Labels Printed?

Clothing Labels are printed with Thermal Transfer Printers. The printers are compact, with only a 9” wide footprint. The printers use a wash-resistant resin to print black text on the labels. Iron On Labels are printed extremely fast at a rate of 2 inches per second.

What Software is Needed to Print Labels?

Unitherm's Iron On Label Printer does not need a computer or software to print Clothing Labels. A USB keyboard plugs into the printer, and the printer’s on-board LCD screen shows what you type! 

For more complex print jobs, Unitherm offers Iron On Clothing Label Software . The Clothing Label software enables laundry personnel to print rosters in their entirety. For example, if your laundry department has a list of names in Microsoft Excel, they can print the whole list using the Software.
